During the period 2003-2006, WFDY was deeply involved in 16th World Festival of Youth and Students, successfully held in Caracas, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, from 7 to 15 August 2005, under the slogan “For Peace and Solidarity, We Struggle against Imperialism and War!”, playing a determinant and fundamental role for an event that was the largest and the most significant political, cultural, broad-based mass initiative organized by world progressive and democratic youth and student forces.
وخلال الفترة 2003-2006، شارك الاتحاد مشاركة كبيرة في المهرجان العالمي السادس عشر للشباب والطلاب، الذي عقد بنجاح في كراكاس، فنزويلا (جمهورية - البوليفارية)، من 7 إلى 15 آب/أغسطس 2005، تحت شعار ”من أجل السلام والتضامن، نناضل ضد الإمبريالية والحرب!“ حيث لعب دورا حاسما ورئيسيا في حدث يُعد أهم مبادرة سياسيا وثقافيا تقوم على قاعدة جماهيرية عريضة، وهي مبادرة نظمتها قوى الشباب والطلاب التقدمية والديمقراطية في العالم.
