• (2) Article 57.   (2) المادة 57 - يعلن في تسجيل الولادة اليوم والساعة ومكان الولادة، ونوع الطفل من حيث الجنس، والإسم واللقب اللذين سيعطيان له، ولقب وإسم ومهنة ومسكن الأب والأم/ وكذلك مكان وتاريخ ولادتهما إذا كان ذلك معروفا.
• Anyone who is challenged by another person concerning the use of his forename or surname or both, without justification, and anyone whose forename or surname or both are wrongfully usurped by another person, is entitled to demand the cessation of such violation, together with compensation for the detriment suffered.
  لكل من نازعه الغير في استعمال اسمه ولقبه، أو كليهما، بلا مبرر، ومن انتحل الغير اسمه أو لقبه، أو كليهما، دون حق، أن يطلب وقف هذا الاعتداء مع التعويض عما يكون قد لحقه من ضرر.
• Article 7: No Venezuelan consular official shall issue or stamp a passport unless the person concerned produces an identity document confirming his name and forename, age, civil status, nationality and last place of residence.
  المادة 7 - على كل موظف قنصلي فنـزويلي أن يمتنع عن إصدار أو تأشير أي جواز سفر إلا في حال إبراز حامله وثيقة هوية تثبت اسمه وشهرته وعمره ووضعه الاجتماعي وجنسيته ومكان إقامته الدائم.
