In performance management, the new electronic Performance Appraisal System (e-PAS) has been introduced throughout the Secretariat as of 1 April 2003, as scheduled. That new real-time online system represents a significant efficiency improvement over the old paper-based process, which required time-consuming manual tabulation, detracting from the timeliness and reliability of information.
وفي إدارة الأداء، تم الأخذ بالنظام الإلكتروني لتقييم الأداء في كامل الأمانة العامة بدءا من 1 نيسان/أبريل 2003، وفق الجدول المقرر ويمثل هذا النظام الحاسوبي المباشر الجديد الذي يعمل بنظام الزمن الحقيقي تحسينا هاما في الكفاءة على العملية القديمة القائمة على الورق، والتي تتطلب جدولة يدوية تستغرق كثيرا من الوقت، وتحد من موثوقية المعلومات وتقديمها في موعدها.
