In the private sector, every enterprise develops its own scale of wages, starting at the legal minimum wage for the economic activity sector concerned.

For each scale, with the exception of the first four scales, the wages of the employees are increased by a yearly increment up to a maximum of seven increments for scales 5-15 and eight increments for scales 16-20.
وفي كل درجة باستثناء الأربعة الأولى، تجرى زيادات سنوية على الأجور وتتوقف بعد سبع زيادات سنوية للدرجات 5-15، وبعد ثماني زيادات للدرجات 16-20.

The Committee also asked the Government to supply information on the measures taken or envisaged: (a) to ensure application of the principle of equal remuneration for male and female workers for work of equal value in the spheres in which it can exert direct or indirect influence on the determination of wage scales; (b) to encourage application of the principle of equal remuneration in cases where the Government is excluded from the wage-fixing machinery; and (c) to cooperate with employers and workers for the purpose of giving effect to the Convention and national legislation on the subject.
وطلبت اللجنة أيضا إلى الحكومة تقديم معلومات عن التدابير المتخذة أو المزمعة من أجل: (أ) ضمان تطبيق مبدأ المساواة في الأجر بين الرجال والنساء العاملين في العمل المتساوي القيمة في الدوائر التي يمكن أن تمارس فيها نفوذا مباشرا أو غير مباشر على تحديد جداول الأجور؛ (ب) تشجيع تطبيق مبدأ المساواة في الأجر في الحالات التي تُقصى الحكومة فيها من آلية تحديد الأجور؛ (ج) والتعاون مع أرباب العمل والعمال من أجل تفعيل الاتفاقية والتشريعات الوطنية المتعلقة بالموضوع.
