The outer surface of the test vessel, below the liquid level, is provided with an electrical heating coil or cartridge heaters connected to a power supply.
ويزود السطح الخارجي لوعاء الاختبار، تحت مستوى سطح السائل، بملف تسخين كهربائي أو خراطيش تسخين موصَّلة بمصدر كهرباء.

The resistance of the heating coil should be such that, with the power available, the calculated heating rate (see section 3) can be achieved.
