  وتوجد سبل كثيرة تستطيع بها هذه الهيئات وهؤلاء الأفراد تقديم هذه المساهمة منها مثلاً: إعداد وتقديم برامج تدريبية خاصة بوسائط الإعلام تسهم في تحسين فهم القضايا المتصلة بالعنصرية والتمييز، وترعى الإحساس بالالتزام المعنوي والاجتماعي لوسائط الإعلام في تعزيز روح التسامح ومعرفة السبل العملية إلى تحقيق ذلك؛ وضمان وجود قواعد سلوك أخلاقية وذاتية التنظيم تحظر استخدام العبارات العنصرية والقوالب النمطية المتحاملة أو المسيئة والإشارات غير الضرورية إلى العرق أو الدين وما شابه ذلك من صفات؛ واتخاذ إجراءات تكفل تنوع العاملين فيها وتمثيلهم تمثيلاً معقولاً للمجتمع بأكمله؛ والحرص على إبلاغ أعمال العنصرية أو التمييز بحذافيرها وبطريقة حساسة والعمل في الوقت نفسه على تعريف الجمهور بها؛ وضمان إبلاغ المعلومات المتعلقة بجماعات محددة إبلاغاً يتيح تحسين فهم الاختلاف ويعكس في الوقت نفسه وجهات نظر تلك الجماعات ويتيح لأعضائها فرصة لإسماع صوتها؛ وتعزيز ثقافة التسامح وتحسين فهم شرور العنصرية والتمييز.
