Special Coordinator Robert Serry held meetings with Syrian Government officials in Damascus on 24 November to discuss regional developments and express support for the continuation of the indirect Israel-Syrian talks.

On 19 July, in the Wadi Joz neighbourhood of East Jerusalem, at the homes of two families that have received eviction orders, Special Coordinator Serry met with representatives of the European Union Troika and other members of the international community in order to express their concern at the plight of the families and at the prospect of new settlement construction in East Jerusalem.

United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Robert Serry met with Jordanian Minister for Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh, on 8 April and on 15 April with Syrian Minister for Foreign Affairs Walid Al-Moualem to discuss efforts to move the peace process forward.
وعقد منسق الأمم المتحدة الخاص لعملية السلام في الشرق الأوسط روبرت سيري اجتماعين مع ناصر جودة، وزير الخارجية الأردني، في 8 نيسان/أبريل، ووليد المعلم، وزير الخارجية السوري، في 15 نيسان/أبريل لمناقشة الجهود الكفيلة بتحريك عملية السلام قدما.

The Government of Syria raised the issue of prisoners from the occupied Syrian Golan with Mr. Serry and I note here the release from Israeli custody of Sitan Al-Wali on 8 July.
وأثارت حكومة سوريا مسألة السجناء من الجولان السوري المحتل مع السيد سري، وأشير هنا إلى الإفراج عن سيطان الولي من السجون الإسرائيلية في 8 تموز/يوليه.

The Secretary-General and Special Coordinator Serry are working with the parties and regional partners and in the Quartet to support the political process, to encourage action to meet commitments and improve conditions on the ground, and to address the grave humanitarian, political and security situation in and around Gaza.
