The Syrian Arab Republic has also declared in all international forums its full commitment to the relevant international resolutions and has called for their implementation, in particular that of Security Council resolutions 242 (1967), 338 (1973) and 497 (1981), and the implementation of the principle of land for peace, in order to guarantee Israel's full, unrestricted and unconditional withdrawal from all of the occupied Syrian Golan to the line of 4 June 1967.
كما أعلنت سورية في جميع المحافل الدولية التزامها الكامل بالقرارات الدولية ذات الصلة وطالبت بتنفيذها وخاصة القرارات 242 و 338 و 497، وبمبدأ الأرض مقابل السلام، بما يكفل انسحاب إسرائيل التام من كامل الجولان السوري المحتل إلى خط الرابع من حزيران/يونيه 1967 دون قيد أو شرط.

وتناولت نيكاراغوا الكلمة في المناقشات التي دارت في مجلس الأمن والجمعية العامة ومجلس حقوق الإنسان، وكذلك في إطار حركة عدم الانحياز، لتدين بقوة المذبحة الدموية التي ارتكبت ضد السكان المدنيين الفلسطينيين، الذين انهالت عليهم إسرائيل قصفا من الجو والبحر والبر على مدى 23 يوما خلال شهري كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2008 وكانون الثاني/يناير 2009، مما أسفر عن مقتل ما لا يقل عن 300 1 شخص. ومن دواعي الأسف أن مجلس الأمن لم يتمكن من وقف هذه المذبحة لأن هيكله يتيح لأعضاء فيه أن يحولوا دون اتخاذ القرارات.
