She urged all Member States to adhere to the Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols, which offered an interface between international humanitarian law and international human rights law, and to implement the 2005 World Summit Outcome, thereby serving the ends of international peace, security and development and bringing out the true meaning of the rule of law.
وحثت جميع الدول الأعضاء على التقيد باتفاقيات جنيف وبروتوكولاتها الإضافية التي تشكل وسيلة تربط بين القانون الإنساني الدولي والقانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان، وعلى أن تنفذ نتيجة اجتماع القمة العالمي لعام 2005، وبهذا تحقق الغايات المتمثلة في تحقيق السلم والأمن والتنمية على الصعيد الدولي وإبراز المعني الحقيقي لسيادة القانون.
