The Subcommittee noted that several national regulatory frameworks presented at the current session dealt with the following issues: national jurisdiction for regulating the space activities of governmental and non-governmental entities; procedures for authorizing and licensing national space activities; liability; indemnification procedures; insurance; intellectual property rights; distribution of remote sensing data; registration of objects launched into outer space and establishment of national registries; safety requirements for the conduct of space activities, in particular for launching activities; and regulatory frameworks for national space agencies or other national entities mandated to carry out and supervise space activities.
ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية أن عددا من الأطر التنظيمية الوطنية التي عُرضت خلال الدورة الحالية يتناول المواضيع التالية: الولاية القضائية الوطنية لتنظيم الأنشطة الفضائية للكيانات الحكومية وغير الحكومية؛ وإجراءات الإذن والترخيص بالأنشطة الفضائية الوطنية؛ والمسؤولية؛ وإجراءات التعويض؛ والتأمين؛ وحقوق الملكية الفكرية؛ وتوزيع بيانات الاستشعار عن بُعد؛ وتسجيل الأجسام المطلقة في الفضاء الخارجي وإنشاء سجلات وطنية؛ ومتطلبات السلامة لإجراء الأنشطة الفضائية، وخصوصا أنشطة الإطلاق؛ والأطر التنظيمية لوكالات الفضاء الوطنية أو سائر الكيانات الوطنية المكلفة بالاضطلاع بأنشطة فضائية والإشراف عليها.
