This Act regulates employment in the private sector and comprises a number of provisions designed by the legislature to provide legal protection for the workers subject to the Act. Covering employment contracts, remuneration, leave, compensation and end-of-service indemnities, these provisions were drafted to protect workers and guarantee stable relations with employers.
- ينظم هذا القانون العمل في القطاع الأهلي حيث يتضمن العديد من الأحكام التي يهدف المشرِّع من ورائها إلى توفير الحماية القانونية للعمال الخاضعين له من خلال الأحكام المتعلقة بعقود العمل والأجور والإجازات والتعويضات ومكافآت نهاية الخدمة وهى أحكام وضعت لحمايــة العامــل وضمــان الاستقرار في علاقاته بصاحب العمل وكلها أحكام عامة لا تحمل تمييزاً على أساس الجنس.
