On 24 August, it was reported that IDF was worried that worsening conditions for travellers at the Allenby Bridge crossing from Jordan to the Palestinian Authority and Israel could lead to violence, as people waited in 40-degree heat for four to six hours and directed their rage towards both Palestinian and Israeli officials on the scene.
