It has collected important data in particular on the issue of magnetic reconnection, taking advantage of in situ observations, and stands at the forefront of space plasma physics by providing data on the generation of non-thermal particles by shock waves and the process of energy reduction by wave-particle interaction.
وجمع بيانات هامة وخصوصا بشأن مسائل اعادة الربط المغنطيسي مستفيدا من عمليات المراقبة الموقعية، وهو يتصدر مجال البلازما الفضائية حيث يقوم بتوفير بيانات بشأن نشوء الجسيمات غير الحرارية بفعل الموجات الصدمية وعملية خفض استخدام الطاقة بواسطة التفاعل بين الموجات والجسيمات.
