These enhancements include, but are not limited to, the following: (a) the creation of stand-off distance between perimeters and buildings, improving parking, perimeter and access controls; (b) the provision of X-ray machines and metal detectors; (c) the provision of video cameras and intruder alarms; (d) the fitting of blast-resistant film and window frame catchers; (e) the provision of armoured vehicles and ballistic protective equipment; (f) the hiring of blast engineering expertise; (g) the reinforcement or construction of walls capable of withstanding the effects of bomb blast; (h) the construction of safe areas within offices or compounds; (e) the provision of specific training in any of the above; and (j) undertaking security missions to the field and the recruitment of Field Security Advisors in some high-risk locations to provide technical guidance, especially as it relates to threat assessment and risk management.
وتشتمل هذه العمليات، دون أن تكون قاصرة على ما يلي: (أ) إيجاد مسافة آمنة بين المحيط الخارجي والمباني، وتحسين ضوابط وقوف السيارات والمحيط الخارجي والوصول إلى المباني؛ (ب) وتوفير أجهزة تصوير بالأشعة السينية، وأجهزة الكشف عن المعادن؛ (ج) وتوفير آلات تصوير بشرائط الفيديو وأجهزة إنذار لكشف التسلل؛ (د) وتركيب أغشية واقية من الانفجار وتركيب ممساك في إطار النوافذ؛ (هـ) وتوفير عربات مصفحة ومعدات الوقاية من المقذوفات؛ (و) والتعاقد مع خبراء المتفجرات؛ (ز) وتقوية أو تشييد جدران قادرة على تحمل آثار انفجار القنابل؛ (ح) وإنشاء مناطق آمنة داخل المكاتب أو المجمعات؛ (ط) وتوفير تدريب محدد في أي من المجالات المذكورة أعلاه؛ (ي) الاضطلاع ببعثات أمن في الميدان وتوظيف مستشاري أمن ميداني في بعض المواقع المحفوفة بمخاطر شديدة كي يقدموا المشورة التقنية، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بتقييم المخاطر وإدارتها.
