(n)1.8 “Electronic communication” means communication by electronic, optical, or digital images or by similar means with the result that the information communicated is accessible so as to be usable for subsequent reference.

9.4 (a) If the contract particulars in a negotiable transport document or a[n] negotiable electronic record contain the statement “freight prepaid” or a statement of a similar nature, then neither the holder nor the consignee, is shall be liable for the payment of the freight.
9-4 (أ) اذا تضمنت تفاصيل العقد في مستند للنقل قابل للتداول أو في سجل الكتروني قابل للتداول عبارة "أجرة النقل مدفوعة سلفا" أو عبارة ذات طابع مماثل لا يكون الحائز ولا المرسل اليه مسؤولا عن دفع أجرة النقل.

يجب على الشاحن أن يضع علامة أو بطاقة على البضاعة الخطرة وفقا لأي قواعد أو لوائح أو مقتضيات أخرى صادرة عن السلطات وتكون منطبقة أثناء أي مرحلة من النقل المعتزم للبضاعة.
