The multiplicity and scattered regional and subregional presence and representation of United Nations organizations in Africa, with different geographical configuration, makes it harder to coordinate activities among themselves, or to plan, implement and follow - up on joint regional or subregional programmes and activities in a coherent and collaborative manner.
