In line 4/5 “appropriate locations for stock pile” should be replaced by “storage”. In the last line, “and procedures and sanctions” should be replaced by “and procedures for accounting for thefts and losses”. Insert the word “unique” before “characteristics”.

Draft subparagraph 14 (2) (b) was clarified by inserting after the phrase “loss, damage or delay” the following text based on paragraph (1), “unless the carrier proves that this event is not attributable to its fault or to the fault of any person mentioned in article 14 bis”.
وأُفيد بأنه جرى توضيح مشروع الفقرة الفرعية 14 (2) (ب) بإدراج العبارة التالية المستندة إلى نص الفقرة (1): "ما لم يثبت الناقل أن هذا الحدث لا يُعزى إلى خطأ ارتكبه هو أو أي شخص مشار إليه في المادة 14 مكررا"، بعد العبارة "الهلاك أو التلف أو التأخر".

Other concerns were raised regarding the aspect of the compromise that would approve the text of paragraph 1 of draft article 62 as written, rather than deleting the phrase “for breaches of its obligations under this Convention” and re-inserting the phrase “for loss of or damage to the goods”, and the perceived broader ability to limit liability that that text would afford the carrier.
وأعرب عن شواغل أخرى فيما يتعلق بجانب الحل التوفيقي الذي سيوافق بمقتضاه على نص الفقرة 1 من مشروع المادة 62 بصيغته الوارد بها، أي بدلا من حذف العبارة "عن الإخلال بالتزاماته بمقتضى هذه الاتفاقية" وإعادة إدراج العبارة "عن حدوث هلاك أو تلف للبضاعة"، والقدرة الأكبر المتصورة للحد من المسؤولية التي من شأن ذلك النص أن يتيحها للناقل.
