One conclusion reached on the basis of the first experiment was that the use of high-capacity digital telephone lines (the integrated services digital network, or ISDN) made it technically possible for interpreters at a remote location to service meetings held at a different location, during a continuous period of two weeks, without disruptions to the participants and to their nearly complete satisfaction.
ومن النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها على أساس التجربة الأولى استخدام خطوط هاتفية رقمية عالية القدرة (الشبكة الرقمية للخدمات المتكاملة أوISDN) مما أتاح للمترجمين الشفويين من الناحية الفنية تقديم خدماتهم من موقع بعيد، إلى الاجتماعات المعقودة في موقع مختلف خلال فترة استمرت أسبوعين متواصلين دون أن تحدث أي حالات تعطيل في الخدمات المقدمة للمشتركين بل تمت بشكل حظي برضائهم التام تقريبا.
