A support programme was formulated by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research in close coordination with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change focal points of the Central Group 11 (CG11), the group of Central European countries that have agreed upon concrete greenhouse gas reduction targets to fulfil their commitments under the Convention and the Kyoto Protocol.
