The State has recently turned its attention to rewarding young people with outstanding talent in the fields of culture, scientific research and social and human sciences. The prizes include the Presidential Order of Merit, which is awarded for exceptional achievement in the cultural field and is designed to encourage young persons to use their latent energies to break new ground in the cultural and scientific domains, developing their skills and devoting their efforts to the general development of the country.
وقد وجهت الدولة رعايتها مؤخراً لتكريم الموهوبين من الشباب في مجالات الثقافة والبحوث العلمية، وفي مجالات العلوم الاجتماعية والإنسانية، بمنحهم جائزة تقديرية من رئيس الجمهورية نظير قيامهم بجهود متميزة في مجالات الإنتاج الثقافي وذلك لتشجيعهم على إطلاق الطاقات المختزنة واقتحام ميادين الإنجازات الثقافية والعلمية لتنمية ملكاتهم وتوجيه جهودهم بما يخدم سياسات التنمية الشاملة في البلاد.
