Binational simulation of a major chemical emergency, conducted at Matamoros, Tamaulipas and Brownsville, Texas. As part of the activities undertaken during the seminar, on 1 December 2005, a simulation exercise was carried out in the Matamoros customs facilities of a collision between a tractor-trailer that was carrying 25 tonnes of oleum (a toxic chemical) and a dry box container trailer carrying hazardous residues in 200-litre containers.
