Article 387 also refers to the commission of the offence of sedition, which applies to any person who, while not repudiating the authority of the established Government, publicly and riotously engages in an uprising in order to obtain by force or violence concessions not granted by the Government.
كذلك تتضمن المادة 387 نصا متعلقا بارتكاب جريمة العصيان، والتي تطبق على الأشخاص الذين يتظاهرون بشكل عمومي ومثير للشغب بغية إكراه الدولة عن طريق القوة أو العنف على اتخاذ تدابير رغما عنها، وذلك علما من مرتكبي هذه الجريمة بسلطة الحكومة المشكلة.

“Article 387. Sedition. Anyone commits the offence of sedition who, while not repudiating the authority of the established Government, publicly and riotously engages in an uprising in order to achieve by force or violence any of the following objectives: (1) deposing an official or a public employee who has been lawfully appointed or elected or preventing him from taking office; (2) directly preventing the promulgation or enforcement of laws or judicial or administrative decisions; (3) committing acts of hatred or vengeance against the person or property of an authority or its agents; (4) committing, for political and social purposes, an act of coercion against individuals, a social class or the property of the State or a public entity; (5) raiding a penitentiary or detention centre or assaulting persons taking prisoners or detainees from one place to another, either in order to release them or to mistreat them.
“المادة 387 - العصيان - يتهم بارتكاب جريمة العصيان كل شخص يعمد، وهو يعلم بوجود سلطة الحكومة المشكلة، إلى القيام بتظاهرات عامة وأعمال شغب لحمل الحكومة عن طريق القوة أو العنف على تحقيق الأهداف التالية: (1) إقالة شخص أو أكثر من بين الموظفين العامين أو إعاقة تنصيب الأشخاص المسمين أو المنتخبين بصورة شرعية: (2) عرقلة سن أو تنفيذ القوانين أو القرارات القضائية أو الإدارية؛ (3) ممارسة أعمال الحقد أو الانتقام إزاء الأشخاص أو ممتلكات السلطات أو وكلائها؛ (4) ممارسة أي عمل من أعمال القسر، لأسباب سياسية أو اجتماعية، ضد الأشخاص أو ضد طبقة اجتماعية أو ضد ممتلكات الدولة أو ضد أي كيان عام؛ (5) انتهاك حرمة المراكز الجنائية أو أماكن الاحتجاز أو مهاجمة الأشخاص الذين يمارسون إجراءات الحبس أو المحتجزين المنقولين من مكان لآخر، سواء بهدف تحريرهم أو إساءة معاملتهم.
