• 6.6 Insofar as the complainant argues that his post-traumatic stress disorder would result in uncontrolled reactions in stressful situations, thereby increasing the risk of his arrest by the Sri Lankan police, the Committee observes that the absence of any criminal proceedings against the complainant in the past, as well as his low political profile, can in turn be adduced as factors likely to lower any risk of serious consequences, should he be arrested again.
  6-6 أما في ما يخص إدعاء صاحب الشكوى أن الاضطرابات النفسية الناجمة عن الصدمة التي تعرض لها قد تدفعه في الحالات المسببة للتوتر إلى إبداء ردود فعلٍ لا يقوى على التحكم فيها، وهو أمر يزيد من احتمال اعتقاله على أيدي عناصر الشرطة السريلانكية، تلاحظ اللجنة أن عدم اتخاذ أي إجراءات جنائية في الماضي ضد صاحب الشكوى، فضلاً عن ضآلة نشاطه السياسي، يمكن الاستشهاد بهما بوصفهما من العوامل المرجح أن تقلل من أي احتمال بوقوع عواقب وخيمة، إذا ما اعتقل من جديد.

  6-7 وفيما يتعلق بحجة صاحب الشكوى بأن ما يعاني منه من اضطراب نفسي لاحق للصدمة سيمنعه من التحكم في سلوكه في حالات الضغط العصبي، ومن ثم يزيد من احتمال توقيف الشرطة السريلانكية لـه، تلاحظ اللجنة أن حصول صاحب الشكوى على حكم براءة من تهم الإرهاب المنسوبة إليه، بالإضافة إلى عدم قيامه بنشاط سياسي واضح، هو من العوامل التي تقلل احتمالات تعرضه لعواقب خطيرة في حالة إلقاء القبض عليه من جديد.
