• In February 2002 the Asian Pacific Women's Information Network Center of Sookmyung Women's University, the leader in this work, organized a workshop entitled “Survey of Women's Informatization in Asia and the Pacific,” in an effort to develop indicators for a survey on women's involvement in computerization to be conducted throughout the Asian region3.
