Reforming the agricultural sector in the context of structural adjustment programmes and reducing government involvement in agricultural input and output markets as well as agricultural finance has led, in most cases, to “greater efficiency in output marketing, but higher transaction costs to financing the production” and quality assurance.
وقد أدى إصلاح القطاع الزراعي في سياق برامج التكليف الهيكلي وتقليل مشاركة الحكومات في أسواق المدخلات والمخرجات الزراعية إلى جانب التمويل الزراعي، في معظم الحالات، إلى "زيادة الكفاءة في تسويق المخرجات، ولكنه أدى في المقابل إلى زيادة تكاليف المعاملات الخاصة بتمويل الإنتاج"(29) وضمان النوعية.
