• The Coronas-F satellite was launched in 2001 to investigate the dynamic processes in the active Sun, the characteristics of solar cosmic rays and the Sun's electromagnetic radiation in the ultraviolet and X-ray spectra, and to study solar cosmic rays, helioseismological sounding of the Sun's depths and the solar corona.
