  فقد أفاد أحد هؤلاء الأطباء بأن الشرطة قد أخضعت صاحب الشكوى في مناسبتين في عامي 1997 و1999 لأشكال التعذيب التالية: ضربه بأدوات خشنة، وضربه بقبضات الأيدي وبسلاح، وطعنه بسكين وجرحه بزجاج، وحرقه بقضيب معدني حامٍ وضربه على أخمص قدميه، وتعليقه من السقف، وإخضاعه لصدمات كهربائية على صدغيه، ومحاولة خنقه بتغطيس رأسه في الماء في برميل وإدخال الماء في أنفه، وتهديده بالقتل باستخدام محقن مملوء بالسّم وتسديد فوهات المسدسات إلى رأسه.
