- OAPEC proposed to contribute by providing information and data, preparing studies on the petroleum industry and delivering assistance through OAPEC subsidiaries, including the Arab Maritime Petroleum Transport Company, the Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company, the Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation and the Arab Petroleum Services Company, in addition to providing training at the Arab Petroleum Training Institute, which was established in Iraq by OAPEC, for technical and administrative personnel working in the petroleum industry.
- اقترحت المنظمة المساهمة من خلال توفير المعلومات والبيانات وإعداد الدراسات التي تتعلق بالصناعة البترولية وتقديم المساعدة من خلال الشركات التابعة للمنظمة، ومنها الشركة العربية البحرية لنقل البترول، والشركة العربية لبناء وإصلاح السفن، والشركة العربية للاستثمارات البترولية، والشركة العربية للخدمات البترولية، بالإضافة إلى المساهمة في تدريب الكوادر الفنية والإدارية العاملة في مجال الصناعة النفطية في معهد النفط العربي للتدريب، الذي أنشأته المنظمة في العراق.

In addition, OAPEC has established the Arab Petroleum Training Institute in Iraq, which will be able to help prepare executives, technicians and managers for the industry.
