• The Ministry of Culture is making considerable endeavours to preserve the cultural heritage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, including Nubia and the desert and coastal regions, through the following measures:
  هذا وتقوم وزارة الثقافة بجهود متعددة في مجال الحفاظ على التراث الثقافي في جمهورية مصر العربية بما في ذلك النوبة والمناطق الصحراوية والساحلية وذلك من خلال:
• One such campaign, which Egypt holds in particular attachment, was that of the 1960s to protect the monuments of Nubia in southern Egypt from the destructive floods of the Nile.
  كما ساهم اليونسكو في وضع وإبرام الكثير من الاتفاقيات في مجال التراث.
• The National Folklore Centre, which is run by the Arts Academy of the Ministry of Culture, is playing a major role in this field and the Folklore Institute is conducting academic studies on the popular heritage particularly in Nubia and the desert and coastal regions.
  ويشكل التراث الشعبي في النوبة والمناطق الساحلية والصحراوية موضوعات مهمة وأساسية بين هذه الدراسات الأكاديمية.
• The Nubian dialect is being preserved by the cultural associations which previously resettled the population of Nubia when the Aswan high dam project inundated their ancient villages, which were saved together with the temple of Abu Simbel. The colloquial dialects which are spoken in the country's various regions and which form the subject of scientific studies and research programmes are all derived from the Arabic mother tongue.
  أما فيما يختص بلهجة النوبة فتقوم برعايتها الأجهزة الثقافية التي عملت منذ فترة على إعادة توطين سكان النوبة بعد مشروع السد العالي وغرق مجتمعاتهم القديمة وإنقاذها مع إنقاذ معبد أبو سمبل، وكل اللهجات العامية في الأقاليم المصرية فرع من اللغة العربية الأم وتخضع للدراسة في البرامج والبحوث العلمية وهي ليست منفصلة عن مجموع اللهجات.
