• The Section will produce efficient and effective information management and technology tools and environment for OHCHR as a whole, comprising an integrated information communication and technology infrastructure, including desktop, server and communication facilities at headquarters and in the field; information management and technology help desk and high standard information management and technology support services; strengthened information management and technology development capacity, consolidated and integrated information management and technology systems; available and reliable human rights application systems with incorporated security and confidentiality, for protection and promotion of human rights, monitoring and analysis of human rights situations and the United Nations human rights bodies and mechanisms; operational office systems covering the areas of resource planning and management, content management and administration, document and process management, relationship and case management; accessible and searchable websites, including Internet, Extranet and Intranet sites; and well-organized governance and centralized management of information management and technology.
