(a) On 16 September 2005 a group of FARDC soldiers from the 123rd Battalion (ex-ANC) passing through Nyamilima on their way to the Rumangabo brassage centre opened fire on a crowd of civilians celebrating their departure and throwing rocks at the passing trucks.
