• The ongoing efforts of both the Federation of Coca Growers and the Federation of Women Coca Growers to uphold human rights and the right to grow coca leaf contributed decisively to the formation of the Political Instrument for the Sovereignty of the Peoples (IPSP) and, subsequently, the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS), which culminated in the triumph of Evo Morales in the 2005 elections as the first indigenous peasant to become President of Bolivia and in the election of representatives of indigenous peasants and, in particular, coca growers to the legislature and the current Constituent Assembly.
  وقد أسهمت الجهود المتواصلة لاتحاد العاملين واتحاد العاملات في زراعة الكوكا، المبذولة للدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان وعن الحق في زراعة أوراق الكوكا، إسهاماً هاماً بالدرجة الأولى في وضع أداة سياسية لسيادة الشعوب ومن ثم في نشوء حركة موجهة نحو الاشتراكية، وانتهاء بانتصار إفو مورالس في انتخابات عام 2005 بوصفه أول فلاح من الشعوب الأصلية يصبح رئيساً لبوليفيا وبوصول ممثلين للفلاحين من الشعوب الأصلية وبوجه خاص للعاملين في زراعة الكوكا إلى البرلمان والجمعية التأسيسية الحالية.
