The National Institute for Health and Occupational Safety of the United States concluded that pavements using rubber asphalt, as opposed to conventional asphalt, cause greater exposure of workers to total particulates, particles soluble in benzene, polycyclic aromatic compounds and organic compounds containing sulphur.
وقد خلص المعهد الوطني للصحة والسلامة المهنية في الولايات المتحدة إلى أن الأرضيات التي تستخدم الأسفلت المطاطي، بالمقارنة بالأسفلت التقليدي، تتسبب في زيادة تعرض العمال لجميع الجسيمات، والجسمات القابلة للذوبان في البنزين والمركبات العطرية متعددة الحلقات والمركبات العضوية التي تحتوي على الكبريت.
Stated provision stipulates that during the time of pregnancy a women shall not be assigned, in particular, to the jobs of a fireman, jobs on high altitudes, jobs performed in unfavourable microclimate, jobs at which she would be exposed to noise and vibrations, jobs at high atmospheric pressure, jobs where she would be exposed to ionic and microwave radiation, lead vapours or its inorganic compounds, lead-tetra -ethyl, mercury vapours and mercury compound dust, dust and vapours of manganese and its compounds, uranium and its compounds, fluorine and its compounds, carbon disulfide, halogen derivatives and hydrocarbons, benzene and other homologous compounds, nitro and amino benzene derivatives, chemical and other substances used in the manufacturing and processing of artificial bitumens and plastic materials; pesticide based on chlorinated hydrocarbon, and biological agents and viruses such as: hepatitis B, herpes, cytomegalo, varicella, rubella, HIV, and bacteria such as: listeria and toxoplasms.
وتنص الأحكام المذكورة على أنه أثناء فترة الحمل، لا تكلف المرأة، بوجه خاص، بالقيام بأعمال رجل الإطفاء، أو بأعمال على ارتفاعات شاهقة، أو بأعمال تؤدى في ظروف مناخية محلية سيئة، أو بأعمال تتعرض فيها للضوضاء والاهتزازات، أو بأعمال تؤدى تحت ضغط جوي عال، أو بأعمال تتعرض فيها للإشعاع الأيوني وإشعاع الموجات المتناهية القصر، أو أبخرة رصاص أو مركباته غير العضوية، أو رباعي إيثيل الرصاص، أو أبخرة الزئبق أو أتربة مركبات الزئبق، أو أتربة وأبخرة المنغنيز ومركباته، أو اليورانيوم ومركباته، أو الفلورين ومركباته، أو ثاني كبريتيد الكربون أو مشتقات مولِّد الملح والهدروكربونات، والبنزين والمركبات الأخرى المتشابهة، أو مشتقات البنزين الأزوتية والأمينية، أو المواد الكيميائية أو غيرها المستخدمة في تصنيع ومعالجة أنواع القار الاصطناعي والمواد اللدائنية؛ أو مبيدات الآفات القائمة على اليهدروكربون المكلور، والعوامل البيولوجية والفيروسات من قبيل: التهاب الكبد B، والقوباء، وتضخم الخلايا، والجديري، والحصبة الألمانية، وفيروس نقص المناعة البشرية، والبكتيريا من قبيل: اليستريات والتوكسوبلازمات.
