The Advisory Committee on Health Research concluded that Member States needed to consider the disability rights critique as part of their efforts to overcome discrimination.
وخلصت اللجنة الاستشارية للبحوث المتعلقة بالصحة إلى أن على الدول الأعضاء أن تعتبر استعراض حقوق المعوقين جزءا من جهودها الرامية إلى القضاء على التمييز.

As the Advisory Committee on Health Research observed, genetic information about a specific health or reproductive risk of a particular individual will often imply a similar risk for other family members.

In its resolution 1999/46, the Commission on Human Rights noted that the Secretary-General had not yet received any information about the reliability of allegations regarding the removal of organs and tissues of children and adults and, in order to enable the Commission to examine this question, it again requested the Secretary-General to seek information among relevant specialized agencies, working closely in particular with the Advisory Committee on Health Research of the World Health Organization and the International Criminal Police Organization, and to include an analysis of the information received in an updated report to be submitted to the Commission at its fifty-sixth session.
ولاحظت لجنة حقوق الإنسان، في قرارها 1999/46، أن الأمين العام لم يتلق بعد أية معلومات عن مدى صحة الادعاءات المتعلقة باستئصال الأعضاء والأنسجة البشرية من أجسام الأطفال والكبار. ومن أجل تمكين اللجنة من بحث هذه المسألة، رجت اللجنة مجدداً من الأمين العام أن يطلب معلومات بشأنها من الوكالات المتخصصة ذات الصلة، وأن يعمل بالتعاون الوثيق بصفة خاصة مع اللجنة الاستشارية المعنية بالبحوث الصحية التابعة لمنظمة الصحة العالمية ومع المنظمة الدولية للشرطة الجنائية، وأن يدرج تحليلاً للمعلومات التي يتلقاها في هذا الخصوص في تقرير مستوفى يقدَّم إلى اللجنة في دورتها السادسة والخمسين.
