  إن الكويت تعتبر اغتيال الشيخ أحمد ياسين جريمة حرب بشعة تضاف إلى جرائم الحرب التي تواصل إسرائيل ارتكابها ضد الإنسانية منتهكة بذلك مبادئ القانون الدولي ومتجاهلة لالتزاماتها التي نصت عليها اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة ولموقف المجتمع الدولي الذي يدين باستمرار سياسات الاغتيالات والقتل المتعمد خارج نطاق القانون التي تنتهجها إسرائيل إضافة إلى السياسات العدوانية المتنوعة الأخرى التي تنفذها ضد المدنيين الفلسطينيين في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة.
• Observance of human rights and improvement of the situation in the occupied territories could never be achieved until the atrocious occupation of all the Arab territories was completely ended and the Palestinian people could exercise its inalienable rights, including the right to establish its own State on its territory with a capital in Jerusalem.
  واختتم كلامه قائلا إن المعاناة في الأراضي المحتلة لن تنتهي ما دام الاحتلال والاستيطان الإسرائيليان مستمرين، كما أن حقوق الإنسان في الأراضي المحتلة لن تجد أدنى تطبيق إلا بزوال الاحتلال المقيت للأراضي العربية المحتلة كافة وبلوغ الشعب الفلسطيني حقوقه غير القابلة للتصرف، بما فيها حقه في إقامة دولته المستقلة على أرضه وعاصمتها القدس.
