  (ب) إن عبارة "جسم الفضاء الخارجي" تعني أي جهاز مصمم ليعمل في الفضاء الخارجي ويطلق في مدار حول جسم سمائي أو يكون في مدار حول أي جسم سمائي، أو أي جسم سمائي، فيما عدا الأرض، أو يغادر المدار حول أي جسم سمائي في اتجاه هذ الجسم السمائي، أو يتنقل من أي جسم سمائي في اتجاه جسم سمائي آخر، أو ينشر في الفضاء الخارجي بأية وسائل أخرى؛
