Pregnant women are protected under the provisions of the Penal Code of Myanmar, such as abortion rather than to save life (Article 312), abortion without the consent of the victim(Article 313) and any action to harm or kill pregnant woman so that she miscarries the fetus (Article 314) are prohibited.
توفَّر الحماية للمرأة الحامل بمقتضى أحكام قانون ميانمار الجنائي مثل الإجهاض بدلاً من إنقاذ الحياة (المادة 312)، والإجهاض دون موافقة الضحية (المادة 313) ويُحظَر ارتكاب أي فعل يتسبب في إلحاق الضرر أو قتل المرأة الحامل بحيث تُسقط الجنين (المادة 314).
