The leachate testing procedure applied by several Parties simulates the potential of a waste to harm human health or the environment if it were to be diposed of in combination with municipal waste in a landfill for municipal waste, abandoned without proper treatment or disposal, or disposed of in an uncontrolled landfill or in a waterbody.
إن إجراء اختبار المادة المرتشحة الذي يطبقه العديد من الأطراف يحاكي احتمال وجود نفاية تضر بصحة الإنسان أو البيئة لو أنها تم التخلص منها كمجموعة مع النفايات البلدية في موقع لطمر نفايات البلدية، أو في حالة إذا تركت دون معالجة أو تخلص سليمين، أو تم التخلص منها في موقع طمر غير متحكم فيه أو في مجرى مائي.
