Sovereign equality, non-interference in other countries' internal affairs and other relevant norms governing international realations should be duly respected. Every country has the right to choose, according to its national circumstances, its own social system and mode of development, which brooks no interference by any other country.
ومن ثم، عُقدت الدورة الثامنة للجنة المشتركة في الفترة من 5 إلى 7 حزيران/يونيه 2003 في واغادوغو، برئاسة نائب وزير الاستثمار والتعاون الاقتصادي الخارجي لجمهورية كوبا، ووزير الدولة بالنيابة وزير الخارجية والتعاون الإقليمي، المسؤول عن التعاون الإقليمي لبوركينا فاسو.
