  وقد لاقت تكنولوجيا ”سولابه دكويد“ لمعالجة مياه المجاري قبولاً في المناطق الريفية والحضرية على حد سواء، لأن هناك عائداً اقتصاديا جيداً من تربية الأسماك.
• With regard to pisciculture and commercial fishing, two national fish hatcheries are being restored and local fish supplies, which have doubled since last year, are expected to return to the 1998 level by mid-2002.

• It has been implementing the technology of Sulabh two-pit toilet for safe disposal of individual household waste, public toilets for public places and in slum settlements, generation and utilization of biogas from human waste from public toilets to provide energy to slum dwellers; wastewater treatment through duckweed and economic return through pisciculture associated with the system.
  وما برحت تنفذ تكنولوجيا سولابه للمرحاض ذي الحفرتين لتصريف النفايات من فرادى المنازل بشكل آمن وتوفير المراحيض العامة في الأماكن العامة في مستوطنات الأحياء الفقيرة، وتوليد الغازات الحيوية الناشئة عن الفضلات البشرية من المراحيض العامة لتوفير الطاقة لساكني الأحياء الفقيرة؛ ومعالجة مياه المجارير من خلال الطحالب، والعائدات الاقتصادية من خلال تربية الأسماك المرتبطة بالشبكة.
• The actions implemented under the above-mentioned projects include the following: promotion of greater inclusion of women in the local economy, by widening work opportunities; consolidation of agro-extractive activities, encouragement of cooperatives and the development of agroindustry, the raising of small animals and pisciculture, based on different local practices of the Quilombola communities; strengthening of youth participation; promotion of the sustainable development of beneficiary communities by including them in local ecotourism through the establishment of activities related to this sector; identification of work and income generation opportunities, based on the sustainable management of the natural resources of the Quilombola communities; and training and capacity building in the areas of agroecology and food security.
