• A solidarity strike is understood to be a strike to support the demands of other employees on strike.
  ويقصد بالإضراب التضامني الإضراب لمساندة مطالب عاملين آخرين مضربين.
• (a) A strike not preceded by proceedings before the mediator (this does not apply to solidarity strikes);
  (أ) الإضراب الذي لا تسبقه دعوى أمام وسيط (لا ينطبق هذا الشرط على الإضرابات التضامنية)؛
• (e) A solidarity strike, if the employer of the participants in such a strike, in particular in view of economic ties, is unable to influence the course or result of the strike of employees whose demands are supported by the solidarity strike.
  (ه‍) الإضراب التضامني، إذا كان صاحب عمل المشاركين في مثل هذا الإضراب، لا سيما بسبب ارتباطات اقتصادية، لا يستطيع التأثير في سير أو نتائج إضراب العاملين الذين يساند الإضراب التضامني مطالبهم.
• This Act governs strikes by unions in disputes over concluding a collective agreement or a collective agreement on a higher level and solidarity strikes in support of other strikers.
  كما ينظم الإضرابات التي تقوم بها النقابات تعبيرا عن وجود اختلاف بشأن إبرام اتفاق جماعي أو آخر على مستوى أعلى والإضرابات التضامنية وتلك التي تنظم لدعم الآخرين.
• Secondary or solidarity action and “political strikes” are therefore not protected.
  ومن ثم فان الإجراءات الثانوية أو التضامنية و"الإضرابات السياسية" لا تحظى بالحماية.
• Only court may declare a strike or its application illegal if requirements of the Law On Strikes have not been complied with or if the strike has been announced during the period of the operation of a collective agreement that has already been concluded with the purpose of changing the terms of the said agreement, thus violating the procedure for amending terms of a collective agreement, or if the strike is a solidarity strike and it is not related to the failure to conclude or execute the framework agreement (on tariffs, labour and other social protection guarantees), or if the strike has been proposed to express political demands, political support or political protest.
  والمحكمة هي وحدها التي تستطيع أن تعلن أن الإضراب أو طلب الإضراب غير مشروع إذا لم يكن قد استوفى الاشتراطات التي جاءت في قانون الإضراب أو إذا كان الإضراب قد أُعلن أثناء فترة سريان اتفاق جماعي كان قد سبق إبرامه بهدف تعديل شروط هذا الاتفاق، مما يعتبر خرقاً لإجراء تعديل الاتفاق الجماعي، أو إذا كان الإضراب إضراباً تضامنياً وليس لـه صلة بعدم إمكان التوصل إلى اتفاق إطاري أو تنفيذه (بشأن التعريفات أو الضمانات العمالية وغيرها من الضمانات الاجتماعية) أو إذا كان الإضراب مقترحات للتعبير عن مطالب سياسية أو لتقديم دعم سياسي أو لإظهار اعتراض سياسي.
• They have been deprived of an education as Palestinian schools have gone on strike in solidarity with the struggle against Israel, a strike which has left the children with nowhere to go but the streets and the riots. To add to this despicable exploitation of the child, Palestinian gunmen have taken cover behind these youths, opening deadly fire on Israeli soldiers and then cynically claiming Israeli brutality as the children are caught in the inevitable crossfire.
  وحرموا من أن يتعلموا لأن المدارس الفلسطينية تعلن الإضراب تضامنا مع الكفاح ضد إسرائيل، وهو إضراب لم يترك أمام الأطفال سبيلا إلا الشوارع والمظاهرات، وبالإضافة إلى هذا الاستغلال الشنيع للطفل أخذ المحاربون الفلسطينيون يختبئون خلف هؤلاء الفتيان، ويفتحون النيران القاتلة على الجنود الإسرائيليين ثم يتحدثون بعد ذلك عن الوحشية الإسرائيلية حين يحصر الأطفال في مواقع النيران الحتمية.
