Within the framework of strengthening economic and social cooperation, I would like to draw attention to the important role played by the institutions of Joint Arab Action and the members of the Higher Coordinating Committee for Joint Arab Action. I have received reports on the activity of a number of specialized Arab organizations namely: the Council for Arab Economic Unity, the Arab Administrative Development Organization, the Arab Centre for the Study of Arid Zones and Dry Lands, the Arab Labour Organization, the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, the Arab Satellite Communication Organization, the Secretariat-General of the Council of Arab Ministers of the Interior and the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization.
في إطار تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، أودُ أن أشير إلى الدور الهام الذي تقوم به مؤسسات العمل العربي المشترك، أعضاء لجنة التنسيق العليا للعمل العربي المشترك، فقد توصلت بتقارير عن أنشطة عدد من المنظمات العربية المتخصصة وهى: مجلس الوحدة الاقتصادية، والمنظمة العربية للتنمية الإدارية، والمركز العربي لدراسة المناطق الجافة والأراضي القاحلة، ومنظمة العمل العربية، والمنظمة العربية للتنمية الزراعية، والمؤسسة العربية للاتصالات الفضائية، والأمانة العامة لمجلس وزراء الداخلية العرب، والمنظمة العربية للتنمية الصناعية والتعدين.
