The incorporation documents for the company, whatever its purpose or designation, as well as documentation of amendment, abrogation, dissolution, or break-up of those companies; the general power of attorney, names of signatories, and revocation of the power of attorney if any, conferred on directors, agents, dependents and any other representatives.

8.1 In her communication of 4 November 1999, Ms. Arredondo's daughter sent the Committee a certified photocopy of a general power of attorney and a handwritten letter signed by Ms. Arredondo supporting the proceedings initiated and pursued by her daughter on her behalf.

Given that the mother has provided an authorization to the individual claimant to claim for her share of the company's losses, and has provided a general power of attorney to the individual claimant, the Panel recommends that a deduction be made for the award she has already received in category “C” from the amount to be paid to the individual claimant, in accordance with the general direction at paragraph 17.
