Thanks to its interaction with the main organs of the United Nations, in particular the Security Council and the General Assembly; thanks to its contacts with Member States and intergovernmental organizations; and thanks to the Secretariat's Division for Palestinian Rights and the assistance it provides through its programme of international meetings and conferences, its publications, its updating of the United Nations Information System on the Question of Palestine — a unique and rich electronic resource containing thousands of United Nations documents on this issue— and its cooperation with civil society, the Committee believes that it is raising international public awareness of all aspects of the question of Palestine and promoting the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
وإن اللجنة، بفضل تفاعلها مع الأجهزة الرئيسية في الأمم المتحدة، ولا سيما مجلس الأمن والجمعية العامة؛ وبفضل اتصالاتها مع الدول الأعضاء والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية؛ وبفضل جهود شعبة حقوق الفلسطينيين التابعة للأمانة العامة والمساعدة التي تقدمها من خلال برنامجها للاجتماعات والمؤتمرات الدولية، ومنشوراتها، وتحديثها لنظام الأمم المتحدة للمعلومات المتعلقة بقضية فلسطين - وهو مصدر إلكتروني فريد وغني بالمعلومات يحتوي على الآلاف من وثائق الأمم المتحدة حول هذه القضية - وبفضل تعاونها مع المجتمع المدني، تعتقد أنها تزيد من درجة الوعي العام على الصعيد الدولي بجميع جوانب مسألة فلسطين، وتعزز الحقوق غير القابلة للتصرف للشعب الفلسطيني.
