• The responsibilities of the incumbent would include: (a) provision of support to the development and enhancement of the integrated operational teams' collaboration websites and development of standardized filing templates to simplify document and records management; (b) coordination with the Integrated Training Service of the Policy, Evaluation and Training Division on the use of the Intranet as a delivery mechanism for training materials, as identified in the strategic peacekeeping training needs assessment, as well as the peacekeeping electronic resource package and information management guidance to achieve availability of mission-specific training materials through the Intranet, provision of an expanded standardized set of electronic news and research resources, and of information management guidance on organizational information handling and storage standards and policies; and (c) development of standardized Intranet templates for field missions to facilitate delivery and sharing of Headquarters and field mission information and provide efficient and consistent design and delivery of information to peacekeepers as well as capacity for in-mission specific dissemination of information (8 missions currently without the Intranet will be provided with assistance to design and develop mission-specific Intranet capacity to achieve full Intranet coverage in all DPKO-led missions by June 2010).
  وتشمل المسؤوليات المنوطة بشاغل الوظيفة ما يلي: (أ) دعم تطوير وتعزيز مواقع التعاون الشبكية للأفرقة التنفيذية المتكاملة ووضع نماذج ملفات موحدة لتبسيط إدارة الوثائق والسجلات؛ (ب) التنسيق مع دائرة التدريب المتكامل التابعة لشعبة السياسات والتقييم والتدريب بشأن استخدام الشبكة الداخلية بوصفها آلية لتوفير المواد التدريبية على النحو المحدد في تقييم احتياجات التدريب الاستراتيجي في مجال حفظ السلام، فضلا عن مجموعة الموارد الالكترونية الخاصة بحفظ السلام وتوجيه إدارة المعلومات لتحقيق توافر المواد التدريبية الخاصة بالبعثات عن طريق الشبكة الداخلية، وتوفير مجموعة موسعة وموحدة من الأخبار وموارد الأبحاث الالكترونية، وتقديم التوجيه بشأن إدارة المعلومات الخاصة بمعايير وسياسات تداول المعلومات وتخزينها في المنظمة؛ (ج) تطوير النماذج الموحدة للشبكة الداخلية الخاصة بالبعثات الميدانية لتسهيل إيصال المعلومات وتقاسمها بين المقر والبعثات الميدانية وتصميم المعلومات وإيصالها على نحو فعال وثابت إلى حفظة السلام، فضلا عن القدرة على نشر المعلومات المحددة داخل البعثات (ستقدم المساعدة لثمان بعثات ليست لديها شبكة داخلية في الوقت الحالي لتصميم وتطوير قدرة للشبكات الداخلية للبعثات لتحقيق التغطية الكاملة للشبكة الداخلية في جميع البعثات التابعة لإدارة عمليات حفظ السلام حتى حزيران/يونيه 2010).
