• If, after reasonable effort, the carrier is unable to locate the shipper, the carrier may so advise the documentary shipper and request instructions in respect of the delivery of the goods;

• If, after reasonable effort, the carrier is unable to locate the controlling party or the shipper, the carrier shall so advise the documentary shipper, and the documentary shipper shall give instructions in respect of the delivery of the goods.
  وإذا ما تعذّر على الناقل، بعد بذل جهد معقول، تحديد مكان الطرف المسيطر أو مكان الشاحن، يتعين على الشاحن المُستندي أن يصدر تعليمات بشأن تسليم البضاعة.
