  ولن تستطيع إسرائيل تحقيق الأمن بقصف مراكز السكان المدنيين وتدمير منازلهم، وقتل المدنيين الأبرياء، وتشييد الجيوب المحاطة، وزيادة صعوبة الواقع الاقتصادي، وإخضاع 5ر3 مليون فلسطيني للحصار ومنع التجول، وإذلال الفلسطينيين عند نقاط التفتيش والاستيلاء على المزيد من الأراضي الفلسطينية.
• I would like to recall and support the following call from Palestinian women: “Security for Israelis will not be achieved by shelling residential areas, destroying homes, killing innocent civilians, tightening closures, harshening economic realities, subjecting 3.5 million Palestinians to siege and curfew, humiliating Palestinians at checkpoints and assassinating activists.
  وأود أن استذكر وأؤيد الدعوة التالية الصادرة عن النسوة الفلسطينيات والقائلة: "بأن أمن الإسرائيليين لن يتحقق من خلال قصف المناطق السكنية وهدم المساكن وقتل المدنيين الأبرياء وتشديد عمليات الإغلاق وخلق وضع اقتصادي قاسٍ وإخضاع 3.3 ملايين فلسطيني للحصار ولمنع الجولان وإهانة الفلسطينيين في نقاط التفتيش واغتيال الناشطين.
• Despite the harshening of the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on our country for over 42 years, the political will and the full participation of all sectors of society have made it possible to achieve an infant mortality rate of 6.2 per 1,000 live births, while women are seen by a physician at least 10 times during pregnancy and child immunization coverage of 95.8 per cent has been attained against 13 diseases.
  ورغم تشديد الحصار الاقتصادي والتجاري والمالي المجرم المفروض على بلادنا منذ أكثر من 42 عاما، جعلت الإرادة السياسية ومشاركة جميع قطاعات المجتمع من الممكن تحقيق معدل وفيات للرضع بنسبة 6.2 لكل ألف مولود حيا، في حين أن الطبيب يعاين النساء 10 مرات على الأقل في فترة الحمل، كما أن نسبة تلقيح الأطفال تبلغ 95.8 في المائة ضد 13 مرضا.
