• The Lebanese Government greatly appreciates the contribution made by UNIFIL to operations to remove the thousands of mines left by Israel in Lebanese territory, which have caused dozens of casualties, prevent freedom of movement of the members of UNIFIL and bar extensive areas of the territory from any possibility of cultivation or economic or social use.
  تثمّن الحكومة اللبنانية عاليا المساهمة التي تقدمها اليونيفيل في عمليات نزع آلاف الألغام التي خلّفتها إسرائيل في الأراضي اللبنانية، والتي تتسبب في عشرات الضحايا، وتعيق حرية تنقل أفراد اليونيفيل، وتضع مساحات شاسعة من الأراضي خارج إمكانية الاستصلاح والاستفادة منها اقتصاديا واجتماعيا.
• The Executive Board took note of the following extensions of country and regional cooperation frameworks: first extension of the cooperation framework for technical cooperation among developing countries (DP/CF/TCDC/1/EXTENSION I); first extensions of the first country cooperation frameworks for Anguilla (DP/CCF/ANL/1/EXTENSION I), Barbados (DP/CCF/BAR/1/EXTENSION I), British Virgin Islands (DP/CCF/BVI/1/EXTENSION I), Dominica (DP/CCF/DMI/1/EXTENSION I), Grenada (DP/CCF/GRN/1/EXTENSION I), Guyana (DP/CCF/GUY/1/EXTENSION I), Saint Lucia (DP/CCF/STL/1/EXTENSION I), Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (DP/CCF/STV/1/EXTENSION I), and the first regional cooperation framework for Latin America (DP/RCF/RLA/1/EXTENSION I).
  وأحاط المجلس التنفيذي علما بالتمديدات التالية لأطر التعاون القطري والإقليمي: التمديد الأول لإطار التعاون القطري المتعلق بالتعاون التقني فيما بين البلدان النامية (DP/CF/TCDC/1/EXTENSON 1)؛ التمديد الأول لأطر التعاون القطري لكـــل مـــــن أنغيلا (DP/CCF/ANL/1/EXTENTSON 1)، بربــــادوس (DP/CCF/BAR/1/EXTENSION 1)، جـــــزر فيرجــــــــن البريطانيــــــــــــــــــــة (DP/CCF/BVI/1/EXTENSION 1)، دومينيكــــــــــــــــا (DP/CCF/DMI/1/EXTENSION 1)، غرينادا (DP/CCF/GRN/1/EXTENSION 1)، غيانا (DP/CCF/GUY/1/EXTENSION 1)، سانت لوسيا (DP/CCF/STL/1/EXTENSION 1)، سانت فنسنت وجزر غرينادين (DP/CCF/STV/1/EXTENSION 1) وإطار التعاون الإقليمي الأول لأمريكا اللاتينية (DP/RCF/RLA/1/EXTENSION 1).
