« وأوحى ربك إلى النحل » وحي إلهام « أن » مفسرة أو مصدرية « اتخذي من الجبال بيوتاً » تأوين إليها « ومن الشجر » بيوتًا « ومما يعرشون » أي الناس يبنون لك من الأماكن وإلا لم تأو إليها .

وألْهَمَ ربك -أيها النبي- النحل بأن اجعلي لك بيوتًا في الجبال ، وفي الشجر ، وفيما يبني الناس من البيوت والسُّقُف .
Your Lord inspired the bee , saying : " Set up hives in the mountains and in the trees and in the trellises that people put up ,
« وأوحى ربك إلى النحل » وحي إلهام « أن » مفسرة أو مصدرية « اتخذي من الجبال بيوتاً » تأوين إليها « ومن الشجر » بيوتًا « ومما يعرشون » أي الناس يبنون لك من الأماكن وإلا لم تأو إليها .
And your Lord inspired the bee [ saying ] : ‘ Make your home in the mountains , and on the trees and the trellises that they erect .

How many towns We have destroyed when they had been wrongdoers ! So they lie fallen on their trellises , their wells neglected and their ruined palaces !
« فكأين » أي كم « من قرية أهلكتها » وفي قراءة أهلكناها « وهي ظالمة » أي أحلها بكفرهم « فهي خاوية » ساقطة « على عروشها » سقوفها « و » كم من « بئر معطلة » متروكة بموت أهلها « وقصر مشيد » رفيع خال بموت أهله .
How many were the unjust dwellers of the towns that We destroyed . From their trellises to their lofty mansions , all were toppled and their wells were abandoned .
