In this context, the Arms and Ammunition Act contains general and specific prohibitions on the manufacture, import, export, possession and bearing of offensive firearms, offensive bladed weapons, explosives, chemical weapons, biological weapons, nuclear weapons, mines, experimental weapons, sound reducers, suppressers or silencers and the appropriate ammunition to be used with them, devices for firing a hidden weapon, such as attaché cases, pencil cases, books and the like, ammunition for exclusively military use and ammunition that has been altered or poisoned with natural chemical products.

Also the Weapons and Ammunition Act contains general prohibitions for individuals to manufacture, import, export, possess and bear offensive firearms, blades, explosives, chemical weapons, biological weapons, atomic weapons, mines, experimental weapons, sound reducers, suppressors or silencers and the appropriate ammunition to be used with them, and also devices that allow a weapon to be fired while hidden such as attaché cases, pencil cases or books, ammunition that is exclusively for military use and ammunition that has been altered or poisoned with natural chemical products.

وينطبق ذلك على حالة الأقلام والكراسات التي يقل المتاح منها الآن عن نصف ما كان متاحا في أواخر الثمانينات؛ وعلى الكتب الدراسية ومواد الاطلاع الأخرى التي تطبع بكميات لا تفي إلا بنصف الاحتياجات؛ فضلا عن المعدات واللوازم المطلوبة لمختبرات الفيزياء والكيمياء.
